The mission of the Canton Fire Department is to provide protection of life, property, and the environment from the effects of fires, medical emergencies, and hazards. We also engage the community through progressive community outreach. Our goal is to be more efficient in the resolution of fire and life safety strategies through an assessment of threatening situations. The Canton Fire Department is accountable to our citizens and strive to provide the highest quality of safety services, including emergency response, emergency prevention and community education.

Committed to safety, the City of Canton Fire Department provides public fire and life safety educational services, including fire and life safety programs for all ages, schools, homes, business, health care facilities, hotel / motel, apartment communities, retirement communities, churches, and social and service clubs. Our services can be applied at any of our 4 stations, or we can come to you or your business.
