The Canton Sportsplex is adjacent to the Canton Multipurpose & Equine Center. This 51 acre facility views six softball/baseball fields, two little league, one mile walking trail, three ponds and one maintenance shop, family restrooms and much more.

When the citizens of Canton, Mississippi asked for a multi-functional building for a variety of family-friendly events, the town stepped up and  created a showcase for indoor and outdoor events.  The metal building with facade, includes a 140’ x 240’ indoor dirt floor arena, skylights, drop LED lighting, giant industrial fans, and grandstand bleachers that seat up to 1800 people. In addition, a full-service concession area was built with a fully furnished commercial kitchen, and restrooms. Just off the kitchen area is a 55 x 65’ conference room with microphone and sound system that is perfect for banquets, and a smaller conference room suitable for groups of 40 people or less.

The facility also features a covered outdoor arena (150’ x 300’) and open outdoor arena (150’ x 300’), as well as 202 Horse stalls, and up to 40 RV parking spaces with living quarter hookups. So far, the center has hosted horse shows, barrel races and other sporting events, concerts, large-scale meetings, conferences, corporate picnics and family reunions. Truly, a building for all purposes!
